Mr. Mort Crim
Mr. Crim is the Owner and President of Mort Crim Communications. He is an author and former broadcast journalist. He was a highly respected TV news anchorman and substitute anchor for Paul Harvey’s daily radio program.
Mr. Chuck Gaidica
Mr. Gaidica is a well-loved TV personality in the Detroit-Metro area. He has worked as the Director of the Meteorology at WDIV (NBC Affiliate) since 1987. He is a two-time Emmy Award winner, author, and speaker.
Mr. Rick & Mrs. Joyce Inatome
Mr. Inatome is the CEO of InfiLaw, a consortium of three independent community based law schools located in Jacksonville, FL, Charlotte, NC, and Phoenix, AZ. He also serves on the boards of Michigan companies. Mrs. Inatome has been a staunch supporter of Promise Village since its inception. They have four children and two grandchildren. Even though the Inatomes live out of state, Promise Village is still very close to their hearts.
Mrs. Victoria Jackson
Mrs. Jackson is best known for her years as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and her comedic performances. She has been in many, many movies and television shows over the years. She became involved with Promise Village as a performer at “Comedy for a Cause” and fell in love with the Promise Village kids. She has a heart for God and His children.
Mr. Tim Hawkins
Mr. Hawkins is a well-known and highly sought after clean, stand-up comedian. He has many comedy DVDs and CDs that have been very successful. His stand-up clips have gotten over 50 million views on YouTube. He is a “Comedy for a Cause” favorite and has performed for Promise Village many times. He has a genuine interest and passion for the mission of Promise Village.
Mr. Art Linkletter (In Memory Of)
Mr. Linkletter was a legendary television personality, well-known professional actor, and businessman and he was best known for his show “Kids Say The Darndest Things.” Mr. Linkletter spent time at Promise Village and loved the organization. We are thankful for his years of service for Promise Village and we are proud to pay tribute to his legacy by maintaining him as a member of the Honorary Board.
Mrs. Laura Loveberry
Mrs. Loveberry is the Mrs. Michigan USA 2007. She is also a published author and speaker. Her greatest claim to fame is being a wife and mother, as well as a dedicated teacher. She has worked with and is a supporter of Promise Village.
Board of Directors
Mr. J. Wade Fleming – Chairman
Mr. Fleming has been on the Promise Village Board of Directors since 1998. Wade is currently President of Proforma JM&P in Troy, Michigan. Prior to working with Proforma, Wade was President and CEO of Automotive Products U.S.A., Inc. in Auburn Hills, Michigan. He and his family are dedicated to helping the children we serve at Promise Village.
Mr. Ken Osiwala – Vice-Chairman & Treasurer
Mr. Osiwala is the Co-owner of Osiwala & Associates. Mr. Osiwala is a successful financial planner. He has brought a wealth of knowledge to Promise Village.
Mr. Loren Epler – Secretary
Mr. Epler is the President and Owner of Dynamic Surface Technologies. He also serves as the Vice-President of Willie Horton Incorporated Technologies and is the CFO of Kingdom Productions (which produced and directed the Promise Village video). He is also the President and Owner of Morning Star Land Co. He has a passion for missions, helping the helpless, and he loves children.
Mr. Russell Frank
Mr. Frank owns the successful company Russ Metals. Mr. Frank has played a key role in helping Promise Village build a firm foundation. He brings to the board a wonderful blend of excellent business skills and a proactive approach to helping hurting children.
Mr. Deryl Horton
Mr. Horton is the oldest son of former Detroit Tiger’s great and Hall of Famer, Willie Horton. He is the President of Willie Horton Incorporated Technologies and the Executive Director of the Willie Horton Foundation. He has a passion for helping children that are hurting and when he witnessed the magnitude of dedication Promise Village provides, he was compelled to be a part of this life-changing organization.
Mr. Jerry Orlando
Mr. Orlando is the owner of the successful collision business J & L Collision in Roseville. He is an integral part of the Promise Village Board.
Dr. Tim Phillips, DDS
Dr. Phillips is a very active board member and he regularly volunteers at Promise Village to help the kids with basic life skills such as gardening and study skills.
Mr. Chris Stearns
Mr. Stearns is a Business Development & Project Manager at R&E Automated Systems, an engineering technical services firm for the manufacturing industry. He has an extensive project management background and has been instrumental in helping with projects at Promise Village. He is also part owner of DFBenefits & DFB TPA Services, an employee benefits brokerage & third party administration firm.
Dr. Timothy Coldiron – Executive Director
Dr. Coldiron is the Founder of Promise Village: Home for Children. He has worked in the field for over 30 years.
