Admission Process
In order to have your child considered for admission, an initial call to 1-877-A-PROMISE or an online inquiry can be made to Promise Village. We will discuss your situation, our program, the costs and any other pertinent information. If it appears Promise Village may be a “good fit” for your child, we will ask you to fill out our intake questionnaire application and send it back to us via email, fax, or mail, along with a picture of your child. We will also ask you to submit any information that you may have from your child’s school or counseling they have received.
All of this information will be assessed and help us determine if Promise Village is the right program for your child. We will then schedule a conference call with you and your child (if they are willing) to discuss the current situation and answer any questions you may have about Promise Village. We will make a determination after this call, if 1) a face-to-face interview is required; 2) a date can be scheduled for the child to be admitted; or 3) that the candidate is not appropriate for the program.
If the admission is approved, we will work with the parent(s) to determine an admission/intake date. During the intake session, the parent(s) and child will meet with their assigned therapist to provide further information, get any questions answered, and begin the therapeutic process.
