Aftercare Program
Our care for and treatment of the children, teens, and families we work with does not end at the time of discharge. We are a phone call away and will do whatever we can to continue to support the child, teen, and family as they solidify the gains they made while at Promise Village. An aftercare plan is developed as a part of each resident’s treatment. This plan begins at intake and is dynamic in nature to ensure that they transition back into family, school, and community life successfully and any imminent concerns are addressed. We provide the support and planning that our residents need to integrate back into the family and community as responsible and productive individuals. As a resident nears program completion, their primary therapist confirms the aftercare plans are in place and that the resources can be accessed successfully.
Residents who complete the Promise Village program are prepared to face the challenges they may encounter in the coming years. They have grown in character and confidence. They will have learned the importance of relationships, family, and God. They will be equipped with the skills necessary to interact and communicate positively with others and problem solve effectively.
